Moto-Lock

Moto-Lock was conceived at the end of an observation process on motorcycle locks. One of the most common phenomenas is a biker that forgets to remove his disc brake lock and consequently breaks his braking disc or falls off the motorcycle, ending up with breakage to his vehicle and suffers from injury. The need to replace the small affective lock was identified and the concept was to design a visible lock both for the rider and the potential thief.

The appearance of the lock drew inspiration from motorcycles design and was created to show strength and edginess. The lock’s handling is very straight forward and simple in order to prevent the downsides of a disc lock such as getting dirty from the ground or the motorcycle chain.
