MARIS – PCT

Maris is a cutting edge developer and manufacturer firm for a variety of high-end, miniatures and features enriched System-On-Module (SOM) solutions based on high-end System-On-Chip (SOC) platforms.
The company client’s portfolio includes a few of the biggest names in the industry such as Elta, Elbit and Lockheed Martin.

Maris came to FIT in need of developing a prototype for a portable command terminal designed to be carried by a cop or a soldier when out on the field. The prototype was to be used by the end customer in real field conditions.

The PCT unit was designed to be highly durable and compact so that it would not limit the user movement. Using the latest 3D printing technologies, we were able to deliver a tough and functional device while paying attention to all of the various interfaces.
